  • Emily Joof

    Founder and CEO

    Emily Joof is an Education specialist who works with International Organizations, and NGOs. Her work centers on inclusive education and contributing in advancing and improving children’s’ rights and access to foundational literacy and numeracy in the global south . She is dedicated to inclusive, equitable and quality learners for all. Emily has managed and delivered education programmes targeting children, at-risk youth and marginalized communities for more than 15 years across three continents.

    Emily is also an author, she has written 14 children’s books to date and has been published in Sweden, the US with translation rights in the UK.

    Hadiatou Bah is a Human Resource and Administrative Personnel who has an experience as an executive assistant in both private organizations and International NGO’s.

    Hadiatou is keen on supporting the vulnerable members in the society especially women and children. She has volunteered in many social organization targeting women and children.

  • Henan Joof

    Trustee

    Dr. Henan L. Joof serves as the Dean of Student Services at Los Angeles Community College LACC; he has also served as Vice President of Student Services at Los Angeles Harbor Colleges; and at Los Angeles Trade Tech. Prior to this he held the position of Dean of Academic Affairs and Dean of Student Services. Dr Joof started his journey to higher education at Glendale Community College, then transfered to California State University of Northridge where he earned a degree in Economics & Political Science. Through his educational journey he developed a passion for advocacy and providing students with positive educational experiences. With that as his driving force and passion he pursued both a Master’s and Doctorate degrees in High Education at University of Southern California.

  • Henriette Sukho Dit Filatriau Joof

    Henriette Sukho Joof is an educationist who started working with children for more than four decades. She taught French as a second language in various Alliance Française (Nigeria-The Gambia). Students came from different backgrounds : from young students to senior staff in private international companies. Henriette worked in ABC learning Center in Bakoteh and collaborated with the French Technical Assistance (Alliance Française Banjul ). She taught French to young children from Preschool to High school levels in The Banjul American International school and the largest international school in Scandinavia : Stockholm International School.She spent a few years teaching French as mother tongue in various middle schools in the suburb towns of Paris ( Montrouge and Versailles )

    Henriette is passionate about interacting with children and helping them develop their skills in learning languages.Though officially retired, she feels that she can still give back to the community and share her worth of knowledge wherever help is needed.
